About Hunter
The history of Hunter n.v. goes back to 1928 when the founder Mr. L. Hunter and his partner started a company specialized in the reconditioning of diesel engines. The business was later extended with the production of conversion parts to convert petrol engine driven vehicles, agricultural- and industrial equipment to diesel. This resulted in an exclusive agency for Perkins diesel engines in 1936. In 1952 all import, export and manufacturing activities were combined into one establishment. The same place of business from which Hunter operates today, the Smallandlaan Hoboken in Antwerp - Belgium.
At present our company has three divisions :
The department SALES MAIN PRODUCTS markets among others products as Perkins industrial- and exchange engines, FG Wilson generatorsets from 4 to 2000 kVA, International Transmissions axles and transmissions, Kohler industrial petrol engines and on-board generatorsets, Perkins-Sabre- and Lombardini marine engines and the Pioner polyethylene work- and pleasure boats.
The WORKSHOP/SERVICE department reconditions and repaires all our products and dresses our products to customers specification. The after sales service and repaires are carried out throughout Belgium andLuxemburg.
The department SALES PARTS COMPONENTS has a warehouse at your disposal with a stock of 10.000 line items, which guarantees the optimum back-up for our products. In addition this department markets a range of marine accessories and components through a network of Hunter Marine Dealers. Represented marine brands are: Vetus, ITT-Jabsco, Rule, Morse Controls, EJ Bowman, Blue Sea Systems, Lofrans, Exalto, ...
Hunter n.v. became a sistercompany of Kemper en Van Twist in 1992, a well established technical trade company in the Netherlands. Both companies market in general on exclusive bases the same products for the entire BeNeLux. Export takes place mainly to Africa and the Middle East.
